Beta policy — legal review pending
Privacy Notice
This notice explains how the Lifeisgood Beta handles information when adults in the United States or Canada explore directions, create an account, build a journey, request optional AI assistance, export data, or delete an account.
Effective July 14, 2026
Scope and operator information
This notice applies to the current free Lifeisgood Web Beta. The operator's formal legal name, postal address, and public privacy contact have not yet been published. Those details are required before general availability.
The Beta is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We ask for an age confirmation and do not request identity documents to verify age.
Information we collect
We collect information that is needed to provide, secure, and improve the Beta. The current Beta does not accept payments or request payment-card details.
- Account and identity data supplied through Google sign-in, such as the provider identifier, verified email details made available by Google, and sign-in timestamps
- Your age attestation, acceptance of current Terms and Privacy versions, optional AI consent, locale, time zone, and market
- Your three selected directions, assessment answers, confirmed direction, journey goals, current facts, inventory, gaps, milestones, next actions, progress, text evidence, and HTTPS evidence links
- AI request metadata, consent version, proposal status, source references, model and schema versions, and suggestions you choose to apply; prompts and responses are not placed in application logs or product analytics
- Technical and security metadata such as request time, coarse country, browser family, rate-limit counters, request or support IDs, error categories, and audit events
- A session-bound offline mutation queue in IndexedDB for up to seven days; it is cleared after server confirmation or sign-out and free text is not stored in localStorage
How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, preserve your selections, calculate deterministic direction scores, create and update journeys, produce requested exports, provide optional AI suggestions, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, protect accounts, and understand the Beta at an aggregate level.
AI does not score your assessment, diagnose you, or modify saved journey fields without an explicit Apply action.
Retention
Journey and account content is retained while your account exists unless you delete it. Ignored or expired AI proposals are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Operational logs are retained for up to 30 days, security audit records for up to 180 days, and de-identified analytics for up to 13 months. Backups may persist for up to 30 days before expiry.
Account deletion revokes active sessions and write access immediately. Product data is scheduled for deletion or irreversible de-identification within 30 days, subject to backup expiry and records that law requires to be retained. The free Beta creates no new payment records.
Your choices and requests
You can avoid AI and use the manual planning features. You can export your account and journeys, remove individual evidence, delete a journey, or request account deletion through the account controls. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
A public privacy contact is not yet available. The Support page accurately describes the limited Beta support channel; this missing contact is a known requirement before general availability.
Security
The engineering design uses encrypted transport, object-level authorization, application-layer encryption for sensitive free text, restricted logs, rate limits, audit trails, and versioned deletion workflows. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not enter secrets, government identifiers, payment details, or information you do not want processed by the service.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the Beta changes. Material changes require a new version and, where appropriate, a new acknowledgement before continued use. Paid features will not be introduced under this free-Beta notice without updated pricing, terms, privacy, and refund information.
